The ASID-12-RJ45H-8 is a Cat5 & Cat5e Surge Protector for 10/100/1000BaseT networks. This ethernet surge protector is rated 1 amp at 12 volts and has a maximum discharge voltage of 15Vdc/12Vac. The Cat5 & Cat5e data network protector is designed in accordance with IEC 61643-21 which ensure up to 20kA protection per the 8/20s curve. The shielded 8 wire protection is obtained through two stage protection using gas discharge tubes and transient diodes. It is easy to install. The Lightning Protection Zone is 0B to 2 and higher. This Cat5 surge protection device has an aluminum housing, has RJ45 connectors and 1 ground connection lead.
