The TC 510 is a universal ATEX, Exe Rated thermocouple terminal block that has a unique design that eliminates the need for terminal blocks with compensating metals. Color is blue in accordance with ATEX and Exe requirements. Due to its design the TC510 thermocouple terminal block which is DIN rail mounted can be used with all types of thermocouples including Type J, K,T, B and E thermocouples. This universal Exe rated thermocouple terminal block which enables a user to wire different wire connections without the intervention of another compensation material by stripping the wire 20mm and then placing the extension lead directly on top of the thermocouple lead wire so that the connection is direct and not through a metal body in the terminal block. The internal conductor overlap combined with double screw clamping allows the direct flow of thermoelectric e.m.f. without the intermediary of a metal body. A major benefit of this DIN rail mount universal thermocouple terminal block is the reduction of inventory as you no longer are required to stock different terminal blocks with compensating metals. UL ratings for this universal ATEX, Exe rated thermocouple terminal block are 20-14AWG, 15A, 600V.
