Prices shown on the Automation Systems Interconnect (ASI) website apply only to orders placed on-line through the “Shopping” functions of the site. Deviations from Internet Prices will only be accepted and processed through prior arrangement with an ASI Representative. Pricing only applies to full package quantities shipped in the package quantities designated in the “Shop” section of this site. All prices are shown in US Dollars only. ASI Internet Prices are based upon the ASI Price List. ASI is not responsible for incorrect internet prices as a result of third-party data entry errors or calculation errors in the Ecommerce section of the ASI website
Automation Systems Interconnect is obligated to charge 6% sales tax for deliveries within the state of Pennsylvania. Pennsylvania customers who have a Tax Exemption Certificate on file with us will not have state taxes added to their orders. Customers is responsible for all applicable state and local taxes, or for providing a valid sale tax exemption certificate. Exemption certificates can be submitted online.
New and existing customers can place orders via this website for direct shipment to USA and International locations. Customers must provide a valid Billing and Shipping address in order for the order to be processed. All orders are shipped from Mechanicsburg, PA, USA, FOB Origination. Payment is accepted in US Dollars only. For international orders, payment must be made prior to shipment via a valid credit card or wire transfer. All international customers are responsible for all duties and taxes incurred on a shipment. All correspondence concerning orders, billing, or shipping should be directed to the address shown below.
All orders are processed through our automated business enterprise system. It provides immediate processing of your order in our main office as well as a confirmation via email that the order was received. We offer a variety of Ground and Air freight delivery options. In-stock items will ship the same day for FedEx orders placed before 4:00 PM EST, for FedEx Air orders received before 1:00 PM EST, and for UPS orders placed before 3:00 PM EST. All other carrier services are shipped the next day.
Changes to Existing Orders
ASI has an automated order system to provide the most efficient order processing possible. With this system, once an order begins to be processed, customer changes are not possible. Certain ASI products, due to custom design, assembly or due to exceeding our max level of stock are non-cancellable and non-returnable, as determined by ASI customer service. If a change needs to be made to your order, please have your Customer ID and Order Number ready and contact the ASI Customer Service department immediately at 877-650-5160.
While the vast majority of items listed in the “Shop” section of this site are currently stocked items, there may be an occasion when an ordered item is temporarily out of stock. In this event, your order will be accepted and placed on backorder. You will be notified, via our sales department, of the expected ship date and the product will be shipped via the same method as the original order. In order to provide you with advance notice of the possibility of a backorder condition, ASI has provided a mechanism to check our stock availability while in the “Shop” section of this site. When adding items to your shopping cart the site automatically responds with a message of “Available” or “Partial Quantity” to each item in the shopping cart. Items in backorder may be canceled by contacting ASI Customer Service toll-free at 877-650-5160. Depending on the quantity and amount of notice, cancellations may be assessed a cancellation charge.
The standard carrier offered at checkout is FedEx. For prepay and add freight charges, the charges are automatically calculated and are added to the invoice. For collect shipments, a valid carrier account must be provided at the beginning of the checkout process. For collect orders, UPS Ground is also available as a shipping option. Product damages or discrepancies must be reported to ASI within 72 hours of receipt. ASI will not be held accountable for carrier delays in shipments due to weather, holidays, customs, or other unexpected delays.
Terms and Conditions of Free Shipping
Free shipping, when offered, is available only to destinations within the contiguous United States (excludes Alaska and Hawaii) and shipped best/most economical way at ASI’s discretion. We reserve the option to consolidate items for shipment and select the common carrier and shipping methods (small package and LTL).
Time-specific delivery and/or service options are available for an additional charge. Call for critical delivery requirements. Delivery locations that require additional services (as determined by the freight company) such as Inside Delivery, Lift Gate, or Notification Prior to Delivery, and/or residential delivery surcharge, may be required and subject to additional cost. All additional service fees are the responsibility of the buyer.
FOB is Mechanicsburg, PA, USA. Once the order leaves our shipping dock, the customer is responsible for payment of the invoice. ASI has chosen to automatically insure each package to protect your package(s) in case of loss. The additional cost for the insurance is based upon the standard insurance rates from Fedex and is included in the shipping costs.
We calculate the shipping and handling charges based on our actual preferred carrier shipping charges, plus a handling fee based upon the number of items being shipped.
ASI accepts purchase orders from customers with approved accounts. In order to set up an account online you need to complete the registration form in the “Shop” section of our website. It usually takes 2 business days to verify credit information, so please allow ample time for us to process your credit information when you place your first order. Note: The minimum order value for orders place with a Purchase Order is $100. Payment terms are net 15 days.
ASI accepts VISA, MasterCard and American Express credit cards. There is no minimum order value and no additional charge for using a credit card to make purchases from Automation Systems Interconnect. Please be sure to provide the same billing address and telephone number which your credit card provider has on file. Incorrect information may cause a delay in processing your order. Your credit card will be billed upon processing your order. Credit card information is not retained on the ASI website and ASI adheres to all PCI credit card standards to ensure the security of your information.
ASI does not offer COD payment for orders made through our E-commerce site. In order to place a COD order, please call ASI Customer Service toll-free at (877) 650-5160. We accept cash or certified checks as payment for COD shipments. We do not accept company or personal checks for COD. There is a small surcharge ($5-7.50, depending on carrier) for COD shipments. COD shipments are not available for shipments outside the U.S.
All ASI products carry a 1-year warranty against defects in materials and workmanship unless otherwise specified. If a product fails to perform properly within 1 year from the date of purchase, we will repair or replace it at our option. Warranties do not apply to products that have been abused or used outside of the recommended product specifications. To return a product which you are not satisfied with you must first call ASI Customer Service to obtain a Return Material Authorization (RMA) number. The product must be returned, with shipping cost paid by the customer, to ASI, 4700 Westport Drive, Mechanicsburg, PA 17055. You must include the RMA number and proof of payment along with your packing slip for proper processing by ASI.
Most ASI products are returnable within 30 days from date of shipment. A 25% re-stocking fee is imposed on the customer to cover the costs involved with restocking.
Misuse of Online Ordering System
Automation Systems Interconnect cannot be held responsible for any misuse of the ordering system by your employees or companions. Security of your Logon Id and passwords are your responsibility. Purchase Order and Credit Card orders received by us are considered authentic and are shipped promptly by our automated system. If you suspect any fraudulent use of your account, please contact us immediately so your account can be placed on hold.
Automation Systems Interconnect cannot be responsible for errors in typography or photography.
