Description

ASI 2397204, type CL250-12, is a 1 hole long barrel compression lug without inspection window that is designed for 250 MCM stranded copper wires. It is used with a 1/2″ stud and can be crimped with one of several tools available from ASI. The CL250-12 1 hole long barrel crimp lugs are constructed of electrolytic copper which has been heat treated or annealed to strengthen the terminal especially between the crimps and tongue. The wire barrel of this 250 MCM crimp lug has a length that is optimized for ideal crimping and provides increased mechanical pullout strength in severe load applications. This 250 MCM yellow color coded 1 hole long barrel compression lug for use with 1/2″ studs is tin-plated to avoid oxidation making it ideal for use in harsh environments. The tongue is clearly marked with wire size and die index for ASI tools. Cordless hydraulic crimping tools are available to ensure that proper crimps are accomplished during wire termination.It is cULus Listed
