PG7 Plastic Hazardous Location Cable Gland, Extended Thread, Ex & ATEX

ASI 3002910 is an Ex cable gland with extended PG7 threads are suitable in hazardous environments - 1 & 2, 21 & 22 where gases, vapors, fogs and powders are present. These PG 7 is an Ex cable gland have extended threads for mounting in thicker panels, a 12.7 mm mounting hole, factory installed O-ring and provide a 3.5 to 6 mm clamping range on cables and wires. The cable grip insert is made of a flexible Polyamide PA 6.6 and the factory fitted Nitrile 70 O-ring provide increased safety to the enclosure or panel after installation. The combination of the seal to the cable or wire and the seal to the enclosure insures that the ASI nylon plastic cable gland cord grips meet type IP65 protection. ASI hazard location is an Ex cable gland operate in temperature range between -20 degrees to +75 degrees Celsius. The ASI Atex PG7 cable gland is also available in an extended thread version for use in thicker panels.
