The ASI451124 is a DIN rail-mounted 4-20mA signal splitter that accepts one 4-20mA (or 0–10V) analog input and replicates it as two fully galvanically isolated 4-20mA output signals. Powered by 24V DC (±10%) and drawing ≤60mA, the module provides 0.2% full-scale output accuracy at 20°C with a temperature drift of 0.05% FS per 10°C
and a response time of ≤100ms. Dielectric strength is rated at 1500V AC for one minute with insulation resistance of ≥100MΩ at 500V DC. Each output channel can drive a maximum load resistance of ≤300Ω. The compact 17.5mm wide housing (99 × 17.5 × 114mm) mounts to standard 7.5mm or 15mm DIN rail.

The ASI451124 takes a single incoming 4-20mA signal and produces two separate, galvanically isolated 4-20mA output signals, so one field transmitter can feed two receiving devices at once without those devices interacting electrically.

WHAT PROBLEM DOES THIS SOLVE?
When a 4-20mA transmitter must feed both a PLC and a separate panel meter, recorder, or controller, connecting both receivers in series consumes available compliance voltage and can degrade accuracy or fail outright if the combined load exceeds the transmitter's drive capability. Running separate wiring back to the field transmitter adds cost and complexity. The ASI451124 solves this by accepting the transmitter signal at a single input and delivering two independent, galvanically isolated 4-20mA replica signals, each capable of driving its own receiving device up to 300Ω load. Because the input, outputs, and power circuits are fully isolated from one another, ground potential differences between devices cannot circulate as error currents, and a wiring fault on one output cannot propagate to the other.
