Rotary Limit Switch | 1:75 Gear Ratio | 4 Adjustable Microswitches | IP67 | Base Mount | FGR0-0075M-4A
The FGR0-0075M-4A Rotary Limit Switch is designed to monitor and control the position or travel of rotating machinery by translating shaft rotation through an internal gear and cam system. With a 1:75 gear ratio and four independently adjustable microswitches, the switch can provide multiple switching points during the travel of a machine or mechanism.
Commonly used on cranes, hoists, winches, doors, gates, lifting equipment, and other rotating machinery, the FGR0 provides reliable end-of-travel and intermediate position control while eliminating the need to install multiple individual position switches along the machine.
What Does This Do?
The FGR0 connects mechanically to a rotating shaft or drive mechanism. As the equipment moves, the input shaft rotates the internal gear and cam assembly.
Each internal cam operates its own microswitch at a predetermined position. By adjusting the cams, the installer determines exactly when each of the four microswitches changes state.
This allows one compact device to monitor several different positions or stages of machine travel.
Why Install a Rotary Limit Switch?
Machines such as cranes, hoists, winches, doors, and lifting systems often need to stop, slow down, change operation, or provide a control signal after a predetermined amount of travel.
A rotary limit switch monitors this movement from the rotating drive mechanism rather than requiring individual limit switches to be mounted at multiple physical locations along the machine.
The 1:75 gear reduction allows the FGR0-0075M-4A to monitor multiple revolutions of the connected shaft while its four adjustable cams provide four independently configurable switching points.
What Problem Does This Solve?
Controlling the travel of machinery can require several different position signals.
For example, a lifting application may require:
• Normal upper stop
• Upper safety or overtravel limit
• Normal lower stop
• Lower safety or overtravel limit
Instead of installing four separate mechanical switches at different locations, the FGR0-0075M-4A can generate multiple position signals from one rotary input.
This simplifies machine wiring, reduces the number of field-mounted switches, and allows switching positions to be adjusted from one centralized device.

Why Choose the FGR0-0075M-4A?
The FGR0-0075M-4A combines a 1:75 mechanical gear reduction with four independently adjustable microswitches in one compact IP67 enclosure.
The internal cam system allows each switching point to be adjusted independently, making it possible to establish multiple machine positions from a single rotating input.
Its compact design is particularly useful where installing multiple conventional limit switches would increase wiring complexity, require additional mounting hardware, or expose switches to damage along the machine's travel path.
Need a Different Configuration?
The FGR0 rotary limit switch platform is available with multiple gear ratios, mounting arrangements, shaft configurations, and either two or four microswitches.
Available ratios include 1:12, 1:25, 1:33, 1:50, 1:75, 1:100, 1:150, 1:200, and 1:400, with direct-ratio versions also available.
