The NDB1L-32C-20-120V is a DIN rail mounted ground fault circuit breaker that
combines overload, short-circuit, and 30mA earth-leakage protection in one
compact device. Rated 20A at 120VAC, it uses a C trip curve and provides a
4.5kA interrupting rating for industrial equipment and control applications.
The breaker includes 1 pole plus neutral, a push-to-test button, visual trip
indication, finger-safe screw clamp terminals, and 35mm DIN rail mounting.
It is UL1053 Recognized for equipment ground-fault protection applications.
WHAT PROBLEM DOES THIS SOLVE?
Standard circuit breakers protect wiring and equipment against overloads and
short circuits but do not necessarily detect lower-level current leaking to
ground.
The NDB1L-32C-20-120V adds 30mA earth-leakage detection to conventional
overcurrent protection. If leakage exceeds the specified threshold, the
breaker opens the circuit to help protect equipment and reduce the risk of
damage caused by ground faults.
IMPORTANT APPLICATION NOTE
This is a 30mA equipment ground-fault protection device. It should not be
marketed as Class A personnel GFCI protection.
Class A GFCI protection used for personnel protection operates at a
substantially lower ground-fault threshold. The 30mA NDB1L is intended for
equipment ground-fault protection under UL1053.
