How It Works
Instead of passing the signal through a metal terminal body, the TC500 uses a direct wire-to-wire overlap connection:

Strip approximately 20 mm of insulation
Place the extension lead directly over the thermocouple conductor
Secure using the double screw clamping system

This creates a direct thermoelectric connection, helping preserve signal accuracy.
